Thread: emacs file saving very slow

sometimes, after using emacs while, saving becomes extremely slow, e.g. 30 seconds save file saved instantly few moments ago.

logging out , in solves problem while, seems come back.

can see no other processes swamping cpu, or other obvious problems (e.g. closing other applications doesn't seem help).

suggestions how can go debugging problem appreciated.

does include processes may using lots of memory?
