Thread: Missing all my applications - Ubuntu 11.10/Unity

hey,

i'm having weirdest issue here. upgraded ubuntu 11.10 (using unity on dell betbook) , date, no issues , of sudden rebooted , apps missing. can't find terminal doing search... cant find of apps.

everythign else fine, can open openoffice apps , firefox (because docked in left tool bar), cant find rest of apps.

looks can fix, im wondering if happens , theres quick fix ?

to open terminal ctrl+alt+t

try unity icons reset:

unity --reset-icons

or unity reset:

code:

unity --reset
