Thread: Upgrade didn't work first time, taking things slow for round 2.
so tried full upgrade 10.10 11.10, upon restarting computer, screen became 1 big terminal , type. not run programs using terminal , mouse wouldn't work, have no record of coding came up.
make computer useable, put in 10.10 disc have , re-installed 10.10. in process of upgrading , after using apt-get update , apt-get upgrade, last lines of report follows, know if there need apparent lack , presence of openoffice , lack of java environment. there else need before rebooting computer?

i went online , searched java enviros , told me go multiverse libraries in synaptec , install ones. used following command openoffice thing said. else need do?
