Thread: Wine no longer run in rootless mode

hi all,

i've been using wine on ubuntu years without issues. each win32 app launch in rootless window if it's native x11 app.

suddenly, since week or ago, win32 apps appear inside single emulated windows desktop x11 window. how can make wine use rootless mode again?

are sure didn't change folder .wine?

try change permissions of folder.

have similar issue 11.10 on folder downloads changing permissions itself.
