Thread: Cannot Burn or Install Ubuntu on XP

i downloaded latest version iso file , tried burn on cd nero gives me error.i tired using power iso. burned 1 cd not boot cd. tried using wupi.exe also.
no luck. i'd run using cd before install on hd
pc intel p4 xp service pack 2.any please

which installation version did download? desktop version, alternate version...? if have desktop version, should have live cd available, boot cd first when turning on computer. might want download again, since seems iso might corrupted somehow if it's giving burn errors.
