J2.5.28 upgrade J 3.6.2 NO Joomla! Update component - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

upgraded j 2.5.18 j 2.5.28 - expect components/joomla! update it's not there.
tried manually installing upgrade package joomla_3.6.2-stable-update_package.zip
but got error - no setup xml file found
can't upgrade site.

the site uses k2 component - maybe that's issue?

is there upgrade package j 2.5.x j 3.0 ??

found joomla_3.3.6-stable-update_package.zip
and installed on j 2.5.28 site , worked.
but component/joomla! update still not available in components.
next i'll jump 3.6.2 , hope joomla! update there in components....

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
