Need to prevent registered users from seeing certain content categories - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm using joomla 3.62 on shared hosting service. i'm using cjblog, lightweight blog creates blog posts directly joomla article system.

i prevent registered users viewing (and posting) content categories, uncategorised , other categories.

is there way prevent registered users viewing categories, should prevent users creating or editing articles in categories?

thank suggestions.

cjblog author said add feature cjblog. however, i'm still interested acl technique if can suggest method.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
