Coldfusion upgrade, dates not being read properly

hi guys,

we upgraded our server coldfusion 8 10 not long ago , there problems of them got fixed. issue that  dates not getting retrieved when, prior upgrade, was.

let's on database particular person, shows date 8:34 when try display date, shows 00:00 (or 12:00 depending on how changed format in output). strange thing information getting passed database (oracle 11g), not retrieving right , what's stranger days, months, , year getting retrieved ok, not seconds, minutes , hours.

i've tested using different types of functions output (timeformat, datetimeformat), used -doracle.jdbc.j2ee13compliant=true , -doracle.jdbc.v8compatibile=true, updated our ojdbc14.jar ojdbc6.jar (since our jdk 1.6), , tried various other solutions on web , on discussion haven't worked far. when cfdump query, gives me {ts 'xxxx-xx-xx 00:00:00'} every entry.

any or direction appreciated

i experiencing same problem.

my company upgraded our development environment coldfusion 8 coldfusion 10 ... proceeded straight install coldfusion update 8  (since cumulative update) via new server update in administrator.  (10.0.8)

we using jdbc thin client oracle driver oracle corporation.. ie . ojdbc14.jar or ojdbc6.jar.

so far cannot retrieve time oracle date/time columns previous poster stated.

without fixing problem in our dev environment, i'm not sure how we'll able upgrade our production environment.   workarounds/advice/ideas try great.
