Stop audio or prevent button press

i have button in courses use open published course. second file demonstration , doing in different screen size show more of interface explaining. i want audio in lesson stop when second window opens.

 

here's doing now: on slide learner accesses demonstration, little preamble , click button launch demonstration. don't want audio continue in course when demonstration (which has audio) launched. first thought add pause command button pause audio in course. looks this:

 

 

however, in practice, audio on slide doesn't pause when button pressed. other option tried putting transparent rectangle on button disappears after audio plays (i don't option much), when run published lesson, rectangle doesn't prevent clicking button. thought simple method work sure, i'm not sure do.

a non-interactive object not provide click box of being functional.

you still on cp5 or 5.5, bad (detect system var using). have easy solution cp6 new commands play audio , stop triggered audio.

 

my workaround replace slide audio object audio: attach audio clip object (like highlight box stroke = 0 , no fill). , in standard action add statement hide object, audio paused then.
