PNG in Batch/Image Processor?
can please have png-24 added image processor?
i've got down quite similar way used process in batch in 7.0 days.
set action save-for-web resize , ctrl-alt-shift-s.
use bridge - tools -> batch override save rules , destination. done dinna! well, sort of...
however, there 2 problems because cannot use of smart features of image processor.
#1 - cannot use absolute size values, or "longest dimension" type resizing. in 1 specific case, have standardized sizing source images, , though have 5 different image configurations (ie 3000x2000, 2000x3000, 2000x2000, 1000x3000 etc...) because come 1 source , have been pre-handled (raw-tiff + bg extraction png), can set simple percentage based resize. rare case me , source images different sizes
#2 - renaming abilities. these not work correctly in cs6 batch. don't know why, suffixes ignored , destination file names untouched "override save as" when use "save web". can use save-as, seems odd save-for-web isn't supported in batch.
#3 hassle. it's more hassle overall , considering work in 3-person team , position such doing less , less of actual ps work , more of planning work, it's frustrating have teach these functions our less experienced workers (who don't speak english, adding greater level of difficulty)
why not put png option in image processor?
seems silly given increasing reliance on png's web design , increasing user-friendliness of web design well.
i think running fact save web export plugin , doesn't pay attention automate>batch settings or in image processor.
there 2 scripts should work:
image processor pro
(part of dr. brown's services 2.3.1)

picture processor:
(look on list on left picture processor)
