Events - timed slots, mutiple prices (mijoEvents?) - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

afternoon all, first post here,

i have been asked create website local charity, have bit of experience in coding not date (very rusty coding, , learning go joomla).

one requirement events function. invested hours researching functionality wanted, have still come short, wondered if help.

i have mijoevents installed on development server, seemed flexible events system, there little documentation, , support seems lacking, when asked miwisoft questions relating extending functionality, told me software don’t support functionality (big help, , not expected).

the functionality need 3 types of event are:
1. bookable event (which included mijoevents)
2. multiple ticket prices per event, e.g. £5.00 & £6.00
3. bookable timed slots, e.g. 10:00, 10:45, 11:30, 13:15, 14:00 etc.
4. deposit payments, bank transfer, reserve list.
5. don't need creation of events registered users

i see mijoevents built on top of opencart, , have found extension has required functionality (http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=27048&filter_search=reservation).
from understand, have rework front end make software work joomla & extension install in opencart if go route.

the question is, have selected best software needs, or there better out there serve needs (out of box , community behind it)?
