Flash player and IE9--previous recommendations didn't work

i running newest adobe flash player ie9.  shows flash player installed; however, doesn't show plug in installed.  videos can see, majority cannot.  how can fix problem.  have read through forums , tried troubleshoot using recommendations, theyy haven't worked me.  have uninstalled/reinstalled adobe flash multiple times , still doesn't work.  running windows 7 64 bit.

was shockwave flash object listed , enabled?  version reported when visit flash player version page?

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
