Thread: Password help needed

for reason laptop no longer asking password upon opening up. has been week or two, ever since put xscreensaver on it. how asks password every time goes sleep or gets closed night? passwords important me, , privacy.

as understand it, never asked password close down sessions. password entry 1)the initial log on have been booting system power-up or 2) if close lid on laptop, or otherwise place system sleep mode. may or maynot ask password depending on how system set.

doing backups cannot test myself. try shortly.
