when hovering mouse on menu header item changes brown color , children items show white background.

1. in css children menu items appear same brown color header menu item/ or different color when mouse in on header menu item ?

2. then, when mouse moves chidren menu item  brown color/or different color ( question1)  stays text changes white ?

3. how change width of 1 menu header item in smaller width other menu header items e.g. 70px ?  keep children menu items header menu item @ 150. currently, there css  #div1 ul li ,which sets width menu items @ 150px ? 

thanks in guidance 

the answers questions totally dependent on code on page. can post link live page can see menu in action, , examine underlying html , css?

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
