PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method ModMenuHelper::getDefaul - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have serious issue following attempt restore joomla site. initially, received received white screen or 500 error. went error log , found error:

[29-oct-2016 04:10:03 america/denver] php fatal error: call undefined method modmenuhelper::getdefault() in /home2/songwri1/public_html/motif/modules/mod_menu/mod_menu.php on line 18

i went path in ftp , renamed mod_menu mod_menu.old. downloaded fresh set of 3.6.2 core files (because version @ right now) , took mod-menu new core , replaced in modules directory. following this, site appears again have no menu.

i can't how appreciate on issue. without working site @ point.

sorry. solved. had put new mod_menu in wrong directory. once put in modules directory, well.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
