Thread: Firefox 7 Startup Causing Instant Reboot in Kubuntu 11.10

a few days ago, updated narwhal ocelot via distro update process versus new install.

i've had couple issues nepomuk , akonadi forum has helped me resolve.

remaining issue 50% of time, when launching firefox 7, causes immediate restart of kubuntu. screen goes black, , after 1 or 2 seconds, new login screen displayed. once various users log in, firefox 7 start , run normally. not upon first session.

tips or thoughts? have others seen this. i'm running basic lenovo desktop (h410) intel integrated graphics.

sounds faulty memory or video driver issue.

however, strange happens on first launch only, might related firefox profile. have tried clean profile already?

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
