Thread: No Sound At All - 10.04 - Getting Frusterated!

alright... i've tried fixing myself. i've searched forums, , google, past 2 hours, i've uninstalled , reinstalled several times, can't figure out.

need people know they're doing.

have no sound @ on ubuntu 10.04, [update: have sound through headphones.] installed via wubi. sound worked on newest version of ubuntu, 11.10, rather use 10.04.

laptop gateway nv7915u.

nothing muted, i've checked...several times...

please let me know information need. i'm noob linux, please, if don't mind me asking, detailed in steps.

hello there. sorry hear frustrations. i'm not sure can of substantial assistance, heck, we'll give shot.

in sound preferences, have listed under hardware? have multiple items there? go through different tabs, muted anywhere? there several sound settings in menu, making sure meshes important.

have tried headphones?

happen if boot live cd?

did system updates?

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
