Photoshop CS4 and Elements 10 in same pc

i trying install photoshop cs4 in computer has photoshop elements 10 installed.  think read might need uninstall elements because there file cs4 won't like.  message "the installer database corrupt.  please contact adobe customer service."  don't have install disk elements 10 don't want uninstall try out.  computer pc running windows7.

 

does else have them working together?  used install disk on computer @ work , worked fine after getting corrupt database message here.  believe disk okay.

first, follow 7 steps , download ps cs4 here:  http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-10-direct-download-links- pse-premiere-pre.html

then, uninstall pse 10.

then run cs4:  http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

then restart computer.

then install pse 10 , activate serial number.

then install ps cs4.
