mocha experts in the auditorium?

first of - excuse i'm posting here, i'm not allowed post @ mocha forum ( odd - relates longevity of "membership" ??? )

therefore here:
my first attempt perform remove in mocha wasn't great succes.

in footage shown * in upper player you'll find original footage. below there's modified version implied

1/ twixtor pro, and

2/ attempt remove footsteps in snow @ left hand side seen in original footage. done via "clean plate"-procedure , illumination model = linear (wow - rendering times!)

flaring aside - there  still obvious "remnants" of these steps in form of shading ( excuse insufficient english ) placed .... see  grey belt traversing.  - in opinion bit dissapointing - not tragedy though - , wonder why occured ? see it, footage quite homogenous respect exposure / white balance , judged suited single screen plate procedure (taken @ last, relevant frame) maybe should've reffered 2 clean plates instead of one?

any other comments / reflections on welcome

there couple of excellent tutorials on mocha site show how mocha ae. it's matter of sampling of frame different point in time. don't need twixtor that, need camera move. shot doesn't move much. take easier approach.

i'd take frame of movie when camera @ end of it's pan left move photoshop , clone out tracks track shot, overlay photoshop file feathered mask , done it. once have original footage fixed should render production codec or pre-compose composite. i'd add solid project, apply twixtor solid , reference either rendered footage or pre-comp. there's enough detail in snow twixtor should able track , lock replacment plate solidly shot. add rotoed copy of original footage if skier intrudes shot when lands.

if wanted clone out hole in snow on right. take intensive roto work powder overlay properly, should done using same track info. comp this:

screen shot 2013-03-24 @ 5.33.25 pm.png

it took less 5 minutes clone out tracks in photoshop.
