Thread: ocelot 11.10

have today downloaded ubuntu ocelot 11.10
download worked okay , have booted twice okay

message
1,waiting network configuration
2,waiting 60 seconds network configuration
3,booting without full network configuration


nothing happens- help-

have reloaded narwhal 11.04 on same machine , good

i had symptoms when upgraded.

when upgraded, computer fell asleep part way through , didn't installed. booted recovery mode holding down shift during start up. ran

code:

dpkg --configure -a

this took looong time.

, restarted

code:

shutdown -r now

and able boot 11.10.

did update update manager , installed more stuff , hunky dory.

i'm kind of n00b , don't know _why_ worked - there might better solution.
