Deleting installation folder causes "Object Not Found" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi. i'm trying initial install of joomia on mac 10.10.5 development environment. made end of installation final page of setup asks me delete installation folder (xamppfiles/htdocs/joomia/installation).

however, when delete folder @ end of path , refresh http://localhost/joomia in browser, "object not found" message.

any ideas on how me through this?

typically, means trying visit different location - check spelling. folder containing joomla website called "joomla" or "joomia"? also, make sure respect case sensitivity (i think case sensitivity not issue on windows, though).

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
