Thread: Dual booting 11.10 and Windows 8

got dev preview of w8 , trying run dual (or more) boot ubuntu 11.10. installed w8 first, attempted install ubuntu disc won't appear dual boot. starts straight windows 8.

try within windows 8, run inside, , it's thing, restarts few times, says done, shuts down , boot menu, has 1 item on it; windows 8 developer preview.

boot w8, have on drives , partition created ubuntu has gone. next thing click onto shared network drive on file server, seperate pc, , displaying ubuntu installation files. right.......

windows 8 thinks partitioned drive random network drive? why can't boot it?

can install windows after ubuntu? if can that.

yes can ubuntu after installing windows ...look @ signature grub recovery gonna you.but ubuntu have every stuff windows have , doing more ...so suggestion keep ubuntu , close windows. have nice day,
