CS5 Actionscript or other coding language help?

i'm illustrator/graphic designer , have used cs5 in past. i'm wondering if illustrator need know code use actionscript on photoshop, illustrator, indesign, or flash? actionscript de-facto coding language in adobe applications? i'm aware of dreamweaver's web coding languages don't design websites it's not i'm into. i'd learn code beginner have more control on features. i'm not sure if actionscript limited adobe flash.

 

i'm using mac os x snow leopard 10.6.8 on intel core i3 imac.

 

any suggestions on books or tutorials can find?

actionscript, understand it, flash's scripting language. not usable in photoshop, illustrator or indesign. none of them have code-writing window, not have way use actionscript.

 

also aware flash contracting , dying. no longer used before (partially security reasons), , being replaced use of html5, css , javascript programming. i'm not expert in area, adobe has been pulling on deployment of flash.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
