Disabling Cloudflare SSL on Admin Pages - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i have enabled cloudflare ssl on site, works flawlessly end, , other users on site need log in.
however, have 1 user gets 404 error when accessing admin login page. page seems redirect https://www.mysite.com//administrator/i ... secretword (note double // before 'administrator').
i have redirects , ssl set via cloudflare control panel on site, no joomla plugins control it.
by setting page rule on cloudflare (*www.mysite.com/administrator/index.php* ssl = off, ordered first page rule) can admin pages appear non-https, lose standard joomla icons.
is there way can admin pages functional on non-https? if helps any, user having problems on assignment in china , uses vpn access internet.
thanks ideas!

from clouidflarfe:
create pagerule exclude joomla admin or joomla login sections cloudflare’s caching , performance features. can access pagerules in cloudflare 'settings' options.
why this?
while there not issue, have seen instances optional performance features rocket loader may inadvertently break functions (editors, etc.) in joomla end.
