Error #2038 - unable to install CS6 on 10.8.3 brand new iMac

i have attempted install cs6 creative suite both adobe site , .iso file - both times, fails install. instead, following (and cryptic) error message:

 

sorry, error has occurred.

the application not installed. try installing again. if problem persists, contact application author.

error# 2038

 

 

i did have previous versions of adobe products on mac, erased files. downloaded several application cleaners , none of them found trace of adobe products.

 

i verified font book , deleted problematic fonts.

 

 

any other ideas?

 

i'm desperate.

megangeckler receiving error #2038?  can post screenshot?

 

also bit concerned title of topic states have new mac mention having older versions of adobe software installed.  did use migration assistant or restore time machine backup?  if did copy on documents , settings or did try restore files?

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
