After windows 8 restarts, Coldfusion 10 application service won't start back up

i saw cf10 installer supports windows8, reinstalled computer , installed coldfusion 10. after installing, worked fine , cf ran without issue. after restarting computer, however, appication server service refuses start up. i've reinstalled cf twice same results. here error in event viewer:

 

"the coldfusion 10 application server service terminated following service-specific error:

the operation completed successfully."

 

and error in popup when try , start up:

 

"windows not start coldfusion 10 application server on local computer. more information, rreview system event log. if non-microsoft service, contact service vendor, , refer service-specific error code 0."

 

any appreciated. i'd hate have reinstall win7.

suggest check \coldfusion10\cfusion\logs coldfusion-error.log coldfusion-out.log warning or error details.
