Payplans or Membership Pro - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

does have experience either or both , argue or against 1 or other?!

i've been using valanx's aec years that's done , need future

any opinion appreciated ..

you've evaluate membership extensions , ask following:

• is there payment plugin popular payment method(s) of target audience available?
• what sort of payments want have in system?
  one time or recurrent? software has included?
• how configuration work? easy change components behavior & layout?
• how's workflow & forms on front-end visitors?
• does have language files , can override language labels?
• does use joomla's one-click-updater?
• can make changes in layout using template overrides?
• have tried demo of both?

i've bought , tried both , i chose membership pro.

from experience:
payplans looks nice but:

• configuration more difficult, plugin system use.
  you've install plugins within component it's difficult choose ones need (and can cooperate)
• the payment form of payplans imho not logical , not change liking :
  address & country on different sides of screen.
  visitors question if business or private customers. wanted remove one, , @ company name field (if it's used, it's company)
• it's bit more expensive

membership pro:

• does not fancy payplans works , easier configure
• in back-end looks & works other joomla components
• there payment plugin available popular local payment method of customers
• the developer experienced , friendly, , open improvements regarding component.
