Thread: No sound at all after trying to replace pulseaudio.

ok, last night did 2 things: 1- upgraded new ati catalyst 11.10 driver (which fixed few bugs).

other is, tried remove pulseaudio , use alsa instead. because couldn't sound out of firefox of time (sometimes worked, not). other reason pulse seemed bog down machine. alsa worked fine awhile. had sound in firefox, had volume control, seemed fine.

now, have no sound @ all, no hardware showing in sound settings, , can't life of me remember did backtrack. write down time, reason, didn't.

don't know begin. think dove water far deep experience level. if can please me out, i've ran out of ideas. i'll supply info want, give me command.

i'm running oneiric on hp laptop radeon hd 4200.

forget it. great time start scratch.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
