The two factor authentication Secret Key is invalid. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have used google authenticator log in joomla admin many times, , have never had problems it. haven't logged in quite time, not since last update on authenticator iphone-app. icon app looks bit different, , had scan qr-code first time opened it.

i don't know if causing problem, can't use log in joomla admin anymore. says "the 2 factor authentication secret key invalid."

any appreciated!

  1. log in phpmyadmin
  2. find table ending in '_extensions' (the first few digits/letters vary installation)
  3. find plugin named plg_twofactorauth_totp , change 'enabled' status '1' '0' , save!
now should able log in without secret key.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
