Thread: Global menu concept improvement

i enjoying unity, after week using have realized global menu needs urgent improvement. concept of global menu, in opinion, when window not maximized, menu should displayed in window title bar , not unity panel. confusing , more complicated reach global menu in scenario. example window loses focus, global menu doesn't show until click window again, go top panel access menu.

problem particularly noticeable when working firefox dialogs or gimp.

don't know if has been posted , if developers working or not, think should implemented. think?

i honest. think thing i'd see getting polished it's consistent across programs, , have fixed addresses window have in focus. example, still use synaptic, when download , click close when it's done, popup firefox telling me i'm close 2 tabs or whatever if it's firefox that's in focus , not synaptic. @ first thought me, see synaptic controls in panel confused why firefox should affected.

otherwise i'm enjoying new. think global menus idea , (other above concern) work well.
