Thread: swap partition in common between multiple ubuntu

hello,

have 2 different versions of ubuntu installed on same machine sharing swap partition.
know if idea or maybe better create swap partition each primary ubuntu installation?

that's because noticed switching between ubuntu versions causes "check" of disks on boot. don't know if related common swap, know when had 1 ubuntu own swap check appeared time time , not often.

advice

working common swap partition how users , safe. fsck starting cronjob every 25/30 post, should not 1 each time boot. have done tweakings changing partitions/folders/files rights ?

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh -a
(can take while, patient)
