Thread: Unity keeps on freezing (stops responding) in Ubuntu 11.10

hi all,

i'm having strange issue since upgrading ubuntu 11.10. unity keeps freezing time time. ui stops responding altogether. no clicks or keyboard commands have effect. not happen specific interval or when particular program runs. has happened atleast 10 times since upgraded 11.10. upgrade, btw, had been smooth no errors.

when freeze occurs, option left me reset computer. didn't try falling console. i'll remember try next time , unity restart. still unity causing problem.

reason i'm sure it's unity causing problem on 1 such occasion, logged in through ssh computer laptop. able perform commands , reboot computer.

idea, anyone?

i did have few instances of that, along menu bar appearing , disappearing @ different times.

no doubt there solution it, need machine general workhorse business....i don't have time fiddle around it.

cut chase , put 11.04 on.

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
