my terminal seems not able find ppa or libimobiledevice. get:

sudo apt-get update shows:

w: failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/pmcenery/pp...source/sources 404 not found

w: failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/pmcenery/pp...-i386/packages 404 not found

&

after type 'sudo apt-get install libimobiledevice'
'e: unable locate package libimobiledevice'.

method tried using:http://askubuntu.com/questions/78535...bimobiledevice

use of synaptic package center not help, either.

still trying ipod sync , not freeze laptop in rhythmbox or gtkpod.

ppa: pmcenery/ppa doesn't seem have oneiric repository (see: http://ppa.launchpad.net/pmcenery/ppa/ubuntu/dists/). there libmobiledevice2 in regular repositories.
