Thread: Can install squid porxy & DNS, DHCP in one ubuntu server.

dear friends,

new ubuntu, want know can install squid proxy server & dns,dhcp in 1 server. if it's possible please write step. have ibm x225 server, option can in server(2.4 ghz x 2, 1gb x 2 ram, 40gb x 2 hdd). please write way of configuration. virtual machine needed no problem need guides me.

that's why people write documentation. i'd start ubuntu server guide.

quick summary:

1) make sure have 2 nics, 1 pointing internet, 1 connected internal network.

2) dns , dhcp provided servers packaged ubuntu server. see guide.

3) squid, google search "squid transparent proxy" , read on redirecting outbound port 80 requests using iptables.

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum. Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
