Thread: Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS CPU appears to be lacking expected security protections

iam trying dig able boot ubuntu desktop.

when run: /usr/bin/check-bios-nx --verbose , this:
'this cpu family 15, model 4, , has nx capabilities unable use these protective features because bios configured disable capability. please enable in bios. more details, see: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/security/cpufeatures

seems simple problem can't identify feature in bios, , alas, stuck, unable boot desktop.

how boot desktop?

are sure it's not video driver problem?
happens when choose boot ubuntu grub?

Error when I try to record application simulation in Adobe Presenter 8

hello, have 30 day trial of adobe presenter 8 , subscription adobe captivate 6.  record application simulation within presenter, receive error after entering swf-name states captivate cannot started , check see if captivate configured run in administrator mode.
