"Pointy" Cornerpoints - Again?!
hello everybody,
i know similar questions have been asked before, of answers have found not solve problem - that's why decided register here , ask myself.
now, here's problem:
i have closed shape include sharp corners - now, don't form naturally-pointed turning points. read lot adjusting miter limits, doesn't seem trick. make more clear, attach screenshots:
shape overview:

now, here problem zones:
the beacon:

the wing-body joint:

now, here's want (kind of):

i achieved setting stroke alignment "outside". unfortunately, other parts this:

vice versa, when set stroke alignment "inside", wing parts ok beacon messed up.
as mentioned above, adjusting miter limit doesn't seem change anything. tried "isolate" relevant parts of path, hasn't worked either. maybe missed step in between?
looking forward , thank in advance
m
ps: use illustrator cs4
m,
you may try increase miter limit (and see whether can increase enough cases).
