has ever tried creating multiple joomla websites in separate folders?
for example, suppose own: www.mygenericblank.com
within "public_html" folder, can create 3 sub-folders named: site1, site2, , site3.
that means can install joomla 3 times, in 3 separate folders @ following addresses:
www.mygenericblank.com/site1
www.mygenericblank.com/site2
www.mygenericblank.com/site3
i guess i'd simultaneously experiment multiple templates , themes. sort of complications might occur? mysql databases corrupted?

you better separate database each site although not required. not uncommon , there component http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/multi-sites
