Login Screen Doesn't Ask For Password - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm complete newbie joomla. inherited site company , i'm trying log in joomla backend, if go client's site , append '/administrator/' url, form asks password.

i've read different techniques editing configuration.php file reset 'super admin' password, site never asks username, i'm @ complete loss.

any idea might going on here?

does login form otherwise normal joomla 3.6 end login prompt?

the site may using security extension adds password end. screenshot helpful identify it.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
