Modules in Templates have position names I don't want - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i'm sorry, i'm new joomla. did try search answer, have not been able find much, other creating own modules. and, i'm overall bit confused joomla language.
i have installed template, , used quickstart files, pretty had template set way used in demo. photography theme portfolio.
my issue is: creators of template have 'portfolio' menu item, , page(? i'm not sure it's called). in page(?), there filterable results germany, sweden , norway. in modules section of end, modules in positions 'germany', 'sweden' , 'norway'. don't want names, cannot figure out how rename modules can use them way want, if that's possible.
alternately, have considered deleting modules , starting over, positioning seems still wrong, since custom positions , have no idea how find/make ones work?

welcome forum, first check module positions in template, find step step here:
https://docs.joomla.org/module_position
the configuration depends on template , in possible framework in it's built, check
info in site downloaded template.
cheers.
