Puppet Warp - ignore unlinked layer mask
when using puppet warp transform layer unlinked layer mask, layer mask not remain in place, being warped along layer working on. seems bug since normal transform tools allow layers modified without affecting mask while unlinked.
grouping layer , putting layer mask on group while i'm using puppet warp transform layer works fine , not inconvenient suppose.
the image working on large scan of old map 12 pages, i'm trying line pages seamless image, , each layer has mask hide margins of each page. don't want have create group each layer have each mask stay in place while i'm adjusting pages. not want "erase" margins applying layer masks before using puppet warp.
is "fixed" in photoshop?
i think puppet warp intended include transparency in form of layer masks, seems unlikely behaviour changed.
you temporarily turn off layer masks shift-clicking them.
