Thread: Today vesafb is being chosen instead of inteldrmfb

i have media-centre set family they're using watch movies , tv shows.

it's running 11.10 , has been since released.

yesterday worked fine , didn't change (honest) today when turned on got unity 2d instead of normal unity, , xbmc (which makes heavy use of gl) unusably slow.

so, tracked down difference in dmesg between yesterday , today yesterday (and before that) used inteldrmfb framebuffer, , today decided vesafb more suitable choice.
didn't change settings between today , yesterday, , didn't upgrade anything.
upgraded today after wasn't working see if updates fix didn't.

i've restarted multiple times today , it's still picking vesa.

now, might not have it, seems fishy last night (while computer off) region changed daylights savings time standard time.
maybe has nothing it, i'll mention it.

i'm intending attach /var/log/dmesg.3.gz , dmesg.4.gz 4 has inteldrmfb , 3 has vesa.
i'm positive there's nothing risky post in dmesg logs... if i'm wrong if let me know rather exploit me, that'd awesome.

appreciated.

ps: tried uploading log files unzipped complained invalid file type, added .txt on them , complained logs being big, i've uploaded them zipped.
