Can Liquid/Alternate Layouts go from single to double page

i'm creating portfolio ipad , havent' been able figure out how this.

what want is:

if have portrait page, 2 landscape images on it. want rotate ipad landscape , have 2 images become 2 separate pages.

the way can think of doing involves doubling pages or messing page count order when next page rotated, wouldn't match right image.

i suspect dps question , it's been asked before. no, there no way want , quite honest have no idea why you'd want way.

dual orientation is, imo, waste of time , effort , you're describing adds nothing reader experience @ all.

save aggrivation , pick 1 orientation , pour effort using msos allow reader tap enlarge images.
