Re-render every time I re-open a project.

help!

 

every time open project i'm working on have re-render it.  half hour video, lots of graphics takes long time.  on premier elements 11, have new toashiba satelite  (64 bit) windows 8.  i'm not computer person per se, can programs , running little or no trouble.  i'm using photoshop elements 11 in conjunction , have not had problems that.

 

additionally, pe11 keeps crashing (error message: app has stopped working search on line solution or close program -- , seems choose close prorgame if don't touch keyboard)  has crashed approximately 5 times on last 3 or 4 days, although i've been working on project few weeks little or no crashing.  crashed evening , lost of work did today, had been saved , rendered multiple times.

 

i've been doing classroom in book, , have not found had re-reneder projects when opened it.   when open project, classroom in book suggests, windows>restore project, doesn't help.

 

does know fix or doing wrong?  fear have start on again. 

 

i've not been able find solution in faq.  there patch can download?

as continue point out in response many similar posts, stranger, windows 8 wild card here.

 

have called adobe tech support? since provided files classroom in book, perhaps can walk through solution.
