Thread: Asus U56E-BBL6/Ubuntu 10.04 with no internet
i new linux , new ubuntu.
bought laptop , installed 10.04 dual-boot. connection fine laptop bricked up. had return , replacement.
new laptop, same model - win7 connects fine ubuntu never has on machine.
i've tried 'network connections' tab, etc. i've followed posts , tried commands in terminal , near can figure out system doesn't 'see' atheros hardware.
hardware should atheros ar8151 pci-e gigabit ethernet controller (ndis 6.20) had check machine that.
there simple way correct this? need online or change distros.
