folders vs albums

i imported 4000 photos iphoto pse 11. orgainizer has hundreds of numbered folders 10 pics each in them. how revert named folders using in iphoto?

 

i don't understand difference between folder , album.

 

i want put of older stuff "away" not in way...

i can't answer questions iphoto.

 

a folder photo located on hard disk. album virtual construct, doesn't exist on hard disk, exists in pse organizer, allows categorize photos in way not constrained folders ... photo can in 1 folder, can in multiple albums if wish, , yet there's single copy on hard disk. furthermore, recommendation, suggest primary organizing via tags, captions , notes, , not albums; , use albums times when want make creation (photobook, slideshow, web album) or when need user-generated order. primary orgainizing via tags, captions , notes.

i want put of older stuff "away" not in way...

generally, that's not how pse organizer works. place organize of photos. why? because @ point in future, if wish find them again, use organization created in pse organizer. can sort older stuff @ bottom of photo grid, wouldn't see them when open organizer.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
