jump to slide/advanced action not working

hello there

 

i using captivate 6 , have setup project has timer on 1st question slide , have set advanced action when timer stops jump results slide otherwise continue on project.
below advanced action.

 

the timer variable v_time have setup on time , created in variables.

 

i have set each slide (excluding first question slide , results slide) checktime advanced action on entry , exit of slide.

 

this used work when published/tested in web browser. have copy of 1 published in january works reason not work.

i think issue jump slide action not 100% sure.

i have tried recreate new project same advanced action still did not work.

i stuck , feel wasting time. have spent 3 days on , ripping hair out.

please help!

kim, event did attach advanced action? if using 'old' timer widget included cp (was there in previous versions), has no events, change value of associated user variable. have trigger action event slide event (on enter, on exit). can have message popped when time over, not prevent user of answering question.

 

second question: version use? did associate variable v_time in widget properties? able type in exact name 'v_time', because there issue timer widget in 6.0.1 prevents typing in characters. maybe issue facing now. have sure correct name associated , variable exists. last not least, values of associated variable in 6 'true' , 'false', not 0 or 1. checked work flow way timer widget coming 6.0 (have newer version on 6.1):

• created user variable vtime (because characters accepted in widget properties, no underscore, , capital v)
• inserted timer widget on first question slide, timed rest of project, countdown message , associated vtime
• created conditional advanced action yours, true as literal value; action triggered each on enter event question slides except first

 

is timer set 'for rest of project'? last tip: never use submit timer widget, because feature disable automatic jumping.
