SSL Causing Blocked Files / Mixed Content in Admin and Frontend - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
what using:
joomla 3.6.4
shape5 prestige academy template (with vertex)
intrasocial.us
i installed ssl certificate last night , template wigging out. frontend not allowing files used. if go whynopadlock.com , enter website (https://www.intrasocial.us/) give blocked files. of them have template.
now in backend, can't access vertex design functionality. when used firefox browser console on template<styles<edit styles page template, found vertex jacascript file being blocked. but, have no clue how fix because file blocked in javascript , line referred in console referencing http via variables , function calls, not using fixed urls.
here error console gave me: "blocked loading mixed active content “http://shape5.com/vertex/current_version/vertexversion.php?version=4.0.0"
anyway, don't expect mind-reader here , know can seen highly detailed answer question have above, if has dealt *type* of situation before, appreciate assistance. right now, see no way around without getting response shape5 , far have said "go general settings in template styles edit mode".... blocked because of mixed content... kind of circular , can't fix via settings when issue making can't settings...

"the ssl cert should not loading in administrator portion of your
website, should loading in frontend, , that's
limited specific pages. sorry cannot debug setup of ssl
cert you, our support our core products only.
i suggest setting ssl cert not apply all
pages of site, , not administrator portion. after
that make sure loading site http:// , not https://. if
it still not work suggest contacting host perform a
restoration of site backup since working , it
does not.
if cannot reach configuration through backend of site,
then can modify settings via ftp editing vertex.json
file in template's folder. settings templates are
found in file."
