Thread: Building an arbitrary Gnome project (gnome-media)


hello,

i'm trying learn how build gnome, can contribuute various projects. since have start somewhere, i'm trying build gnome-media.

http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-media/

pulled code git, installed documentation tools per http://developer.gnome.org/gnome-dev.../getting-ready.

i'm not sure steps build output. tyipcally, know linux has "./configure" , "make all" 2-step approach. tried ./configure, , output (with error as_compiler_flag). can give me guidance on building this?

gnome perhaps complicated piece of software compile in whole world since don't seem familiar compiling, suggest start easier.
