Thread: libsensors readout says 'alarm': Should I worry?

hello,

installed libsensors4 terminal. configured , ran it, idea of cpu temperatures. installed ubuntu 11.10 on older machine core 2 duo (e6600) 2.4 ghz , cpu running pretty hot under vista (about 85c).

far, temps , relieved. however, i'm assuming voltage, has word 'alarm' on several lines.

here readout:
code:
fx510x:~$ sensors coretemp-isa-0000 adapter: isa adapter core 0: +56.0°c (high = +84.0°c, crit = +100.0°c) core 1: +51.0°c (high = +84.0°c, crit = +100.0°c) emc6d103-i2c-3-2e adapter: smbus i801 adapter @ 4000 in0: +1.51 v (min = +0.00 v, max = +3.32 v) alarm in1: +1.14 v (min = +0.00 v, max = +2.99 v) alarm in2: +3.30 v (min = +0.00 v, max = +4.38 v) in3: +5.06 v (min = +0.00 v, max = +6.64 v) alarm in4: +11.98 v (min = +0.00 v, max = +15.94 v) alarm fan1: 856 rpm (min = 0 rpm) fan2: 0 rpm (min = 0 rpm) fan3: 878 rpm (min = 0 rpm) fan4: 0 rpm (min = 0 rpm) temp1: +34.2°c (low = -127.0°c, high = +127.0°c) temp2: +29.1°c (low = -127.0°c, high = +127.0°c) temp3: +41.2°c (low = -127.0°c, high = +127.0°c) cpu0_vid: +0.000 v
is need worry about? doesn't @ close listed max figures, i'm not sure if higher supposed , how serious should take 'alarm' messages.

, help.

here's output
code:
w83627hf-isa-0290 adapter: isa adapter in0: +1.44 v (min = +2.99 v, max = +3.39 v) alarm in1: +1.46 v (min = +2.99 v, max = +3.39 v) alarm in2: +3.38 v (min = +2.82 v, max = +3.79 v) in3: +2.99 v (min = +0.13 v, max = +1.55 v) alarm in4: +3.22 v (min = +0.34 v, max = +0.02 v) alarm in5: +3.23 v (min = +0.34 v, max = +2.18 v) alarm in6: +3.23 v (min = +1.55 v, max = +0.19 v) alarm in7: +3.36 v (min = +2.06 v, max = +0.35 v) alarm in8: +3.49 v (min = +0.13 v, max = +1.02 v) alarm fan1: 0 rpm (min = 8437 rpm, div = 8) alarm fan2: 2220 rpm (min = 3515 rpm, div = 8) alarm fan3: 0 rpm (min = 10546 rpm, div = 2) alarm temp1: +30.0°c (high = +40.0°c, hyst = -121.0°c) sensor = thermistor temp2: +47.5°c (high = +80.0°c, hyst = +75.0°c) sensor = diode temp3: +66.0°c (high = +80.0°c, hyst = +75.0°c) sensor = thermistor cpu0_vid: +1.388 v beep_enable: enabled
it's been long can remember.
so, yep, don't worry it.
