Thread: Unity launcher search function

am missing something, going crazy or stupid.

using new 11.10 unity environment, , clicking "super key" show launcher search textbox, why can not search typing name of file exists in home folder?

example: go home folder, create doc called "test" , click super key , search phrase "test" doesnt show.

launcher search function @ doing displaying porn collection in videos folder nothing documents or home folder....

mean ubuntu 11.10 pervert? (or maybe me)

no seriously, new doc create in folder /home/user/ folder doesnt show, music , videos when search them.

info appreciated..

zeitgeist keeps track of activities on your
system (file usage, browser history, calendar events, etc.)
not pure search tool.

if open file created show up.

can customize logs using activity log manager zeitgeist
